Stop making me do this. I said there would be no more clarifications.

Effete Cardinal Kiss me with your mouth Fernandez has his nickers in a twist.

Didn't he say a few weeks ago there would be no more clarifications?

What a pathetic sissyman.

He can kiss me grits!

Dicastery for Doctrine of the Faith clarifies application of ‘Fiducia supplicans’ - Vatican News

John the Baptist died protecting the sanctity of marriage, publicly rebuking Herod and Herodias for their adulterous relationship.

With John the Baptist's connections, being the second cousin of Jesus, he could've arranged a blessing by Jesus of the couple, one in keeping with Fiducia Supplicans. Then instead of beheading John, the Tetrarch would have invited Jesus and John to the same celebration which instead resulted in John's decapitation. How ironic that they could have eaten lamb from the same silver platter that was gifted to Salome with John’s head.

If only Jesus and John had applied the enlightened reasoning of Pope Francis from Fiducia Supplicans! Alas, they were too rigid in applying Mosaic Law, and so John died in vain.

Great observation, TJP. What these men are trying to do upends teaching on morality and law through all time to the present day. They are desperate, the latest argument is "it only takes 10 or 15 seconds, what are you worried about". We can smell the desperation, their argument has failed entirely. This is what comes of putting a writer of porn in charge of the church.

We see all the many photos of the "spontaneous" blessings, starting the day after FS. James Martin is spontaneously busy.
