This is what Benedict hoped for, this is what Holy Mother Church desires; this is what we need.

Take heart, I know 30 seminarians from Ontario, Manitoba and the Maritimes and every one of them will celebate the traditional Rite alongside the modern. They will not put this back in the box. We have the truth and time on our side; I only pray that I live long enough to see it.Vox Cantorishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16987049370515084083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20981956.post-40370898849439433442013-07-08T07:34:04.560-04:002013-07-08T07:34:04.560-04:00Dear Matt K;
There is no putting the Usus Antiqui...Dear Matt K;

There is no putting the Usus Antiquior back in a box. Our beloved Benedict XVI through the grace of the Holy Spirit gave us back our Rite and our rights! The 2:00 time frame is to allow the diocesan priests to finish in their parishes and travel, the rotation begins on Sunday. The community itself (those coming from London and those from Kinkora) is not quite large enough to support it own church building. My experience is that "shared" situations don't always work well except at the Oratory in Toronto and St. John Cantius in Chicago. There is always envy, hostility, fear and disdain from those who consider themselves "liberal" except for this Rite. So, being at Regina Mundi College is actually a positive. Let us build the community to 300, 400, 500 or more! Can you imagine then? Now, where is that empty church again?

Vox Cantorishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16987049370515084083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20981956.post-70148735997732379092013-07-07T21:23:29.000-04:002013-07-07T21:23:29.000-04:00I'm torn on this. Almost all the churches in ...I'm torn on this. Almost all the churches in London are empty in this 2pm timeslot, but the only Latin Mass in the city has been asked to relocate to a circular high school chapel on the edge of the city? RMCC is equally on the outskirts of town.

I really don't mind travelling to assist at our beautiful, ancient liturgy, so while it's nice to have a TLM in London, I'm still not sure what to make of this.

In any case, I long for the day when the Mass of All Ages returns to St. Peter's Cathedral Basilica!Matt Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14442054636650390528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20981956.post-71042378821405306282013-07-03T11:16:14.782-04:002013-07-03T11:16:14.782-04:00This is wonderful news!
