I for one would like to hear what His Excellency thinks a homosexual person is. Is he saying a petrson who has committed this awful mortal sin, one that cries to Heaven for vengeance, or is he saying something else?

By his use of that phrase he is implying, whether he wishes to or not, that someone can be just, well, homosexual...or is somehow "born that way", a concept that is patently absurd (and which has nothing whatever to do with certain effeminate traits in speech or mannerisms that some men might adopt even without knowing it). If the Church continues on with this kind of talk it has in effect already surrendered the crucial point to the sodomites, namely: that they are born that way, that God created them that way just like He created negroes or orientals and therefore must be acepted. The use of terms like "homosexual person", or "same sex attraction" or "sexual orientation" are extremely dangerous and were invented by the sodomite mafia to accomplish the very thing they have accomplished: acceptance of their sin.

Much of what Amato writes is excellent and I don't to dump on the man but even he needs to think about the words and phrases he uses. Words have consequences. It is not hard to see now what consequences have merged from the use of these terms. The Church would be on safer ground if they would call sinners to the Confessional, not create bogus categories for certain kinds of sins and then not call them sins.

It would be better still if the Church would use the term "mortal sin" once in awhile. I haven't heard that from a pulpit in donkey's years.Aged parenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05217229048176272954noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20981956.post-5959373109084435372015-07-07T09:19:07.471-04:002015-07-07T09:19:07.471-04:00My elderly friend who went to 2 grandchildren'...My elderly friend who went to 2 grandchildren's same sex "weddings" (or she would 'lose' the grandchildren she worships) could not get through this or understand it.
