The Octave of the Epiphany - stolen from you and me, but we can take it back!

We are now at the second day within the Octave of the Epiphany. Never heard of it, eh? Well, if you follow the nervous disorder, then you're not alone. For even the 1962 does not have it. Those monsters were already there and for whatever reason. Pope Pius XII listened to that demon Bugnini and not only gutted the Holy Week but did in the Octave of the Epiphany as well. It is not only the Novus Ordo that needs to be thrown into the dustbin of history but eventually the 1962. It is not that some simplifications were not necessary but all of it went to far. There will come a time to go back to 1949 and start over!

The irony is that you can still find ghosts of it in the 1962 and the 1970 disaster.

So why not just bring it back/

But you can still honour it.

Oh, and did you know that the Church has always taught that the Epiphany, the Baptism of the Lord and the Wedding Feast at Cana all occurred on the same day as the Lord's great Manifestations?

No, you didn't - because they robbed you of that, too!

Red pill friends. Now!

Tribus miraculis ornatum, diem sanctum colimus:
Hodie stella Magos duxit ad praesepium:
Hodie vinum ex aqua factum est ad nuptias:
Hodie in Jordane a Joanne Christus baptizari voluit,
ut salvaret nos, Alleluia.
We observe this holy day, ornamented with three miracles:
Today a star led the Magi to the manger;
Today wine was made from water at the wedding;
Today in the Jordan Christ desired to be baptised by John,
so that He might save us, Alleluia.

Thanks Vox! The more the vicious masonic desecration of the Holy Tridentine Mass by the protestant novus ordo "mass" is exposed for the sham it is, the better!

Yes; and it all started with Pius XII. The question is, "why?"

Thank you Vox, I did not know this. But then I am a V2catholic.Trying to learn more.

At our monastery we still sing that antiphon - in modern English alas, and I had to explain it to a visiting deacon on retreat. Though months away from ordination, he had never heard of this before.

There are actually traces of the former octave in the 1962 liturgical books (proper antiphons for Magnificat and Benedictus, and white liturgical color till Jan. 13).

Pulex, what happened between 1939 and 1949. Do you see Mediator Dei, which I recall was in 1949, as problematic?

As for the traces left, you are correct and they are even in the Novus Ordo!

Just restore the Octave!

I believe that the saintly Archbishop Lefebvre made a terrible mistake in accepting the 1962 missal. Now we have the SSPX schools implementing the dialogue mass. God help us. Our Lady of Buen Suceso, pray for us!

Pope Pius XII was a true and holy Pope. He was surrounded by cryptomasons. His Confessor was a mason - bea, if I remember correctly, and then bugnini and montini apart from many others. We can be certain they hid their true colours from him with the cunning and deceit of their master, satan. A holy Pope surrounded by ravenous, wolves! He was talked into making the changes on a temporary, EXPERIMENTAL basis for a plausible reason. Bear in mind that a Pope may quite legitimately and with full authority, alter the liturgy. Also bear in mind that none of his changes are in any way heretical. The masons were laying the first stones in the foundation of their vile schemes, but Pope Pius was not aware of their sinister and ulterior motives in promoting seemingly innocent change.

Between 1939 and 1949? Not much. Bea Psalter, some other minor things. 1949 would be alright, too. Mediator Dei was issued 1947. In the comment above I meant liturgical books, not encyclicals.

Did you notice that Jews stubbornly want to go back to the situation from before 70A.D. or, still better, before April 14, 33A.D. They are just real restorationists! By focusing on what has passed, you may miss the coming of God's Kingdom.

"Pope Pius was NOT AWARE of their sinister and ulterior motives in promoting seemingly innocent change". Not aware???

Are you suggesting that Pope Pius XII, as a seasoned diplomat, was not able to see the intentions of his archbishops and cardinals?! You underestimate the pope.

In anticipation of a new epiphany
Such a great festival! Have you noticed that the guests at Isaiah [60, 6] - "... all they from Saba shall come, bringing gold and frankincense: and shewing forth praise to the Lord." - bring only gold and incense? Whereas the Magi from the East at Matthew [2, 11] bring something extra, namely myrrh? Myrrh was used to anoint the body of the Savior before being buried. The Lord took this myrrh inside the earth (the grave). He sent her back to earth in wonderful circumstances. The Octave of Epiphany falls on January 13 and the same day we have comemmoration of Saint Remigius of Reims. Baptizing King Chlodwig, and with him all of France, Bishop Remigius received myrrh directly from heaven through a dove. Why was the French monarchy so distinguished among other Christian kingdoms? Because its rulers are the descendants of King David and therefore they are entitled to the same anointing as for the greatest of David's sons, Jesus Christ the Savior, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. But why? Because Jesus Christ is the firstborn among many brothers! When the epiphany of the great end-time monarch occurs, we will see that he comes from the royal house of David.
