Scalfari: Pope Francis Told Me That Jesus Incarnate Was a 'Man ... Not at All a God'

friend and interviewer Eugenio
Scalfari. (Radio Spada)
In the latest edition of La Repubblica, Pope Francis' longtime atheist friend and interviewer, Eugenio Scalfari, claims that the Pope told him that once Jesus Christ became incarnate, he was a man, a "man of exceptional virtues" but "not at all a God."
The teaching of the Catholic Church and most Christian churches is that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was incarnated as fully man and fully God.
As the Catechism of the Catholic Church states, "The unique and altogether singular event of the Incarnation of the Son of God does not mean that Jesus Christ is part God and part man, nor does it imply that he is the result of a confused mixture of the divine and the human. He became truly man while remaining truly God. Jesus Christ is true God and true man. During the first centuries, the Church had to defend and clarify this truth of faith against the heresies that falsified it. (464)"
The birth of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
According to the highly respected Catholic blog, Rorate Caeli, and Radio Spada in Italy, Scalfari states in the Oct. 9 edition of La Repubblica (behind paywall) the following: "Those who, as it has happened many times with me, have had the luck of meeting him and speaking to him with the greatest cultural intimacy, know that Pope Francis conceives Christ as Jesus of Nazareth, man, not God incarnate."
"Once incarnate, Jesus stops being a God and becomes a man until his death on the cross."
[...]
Scalfari continues, "When I had the chance of discussing these sentences, Pope Francis told me: 'They are the proven proof that Jesus of Nazareth, once having become a man, was, though a man of exceptional virtues, not at all a God.'"
In a March 2018 interview with Scalfari, Pope Francis reportedly said, "There is no Hell, there is the disappearance of sinful souls."

That interview caused an uproar and the Vatican claimed that what the Pope reportedly said was a "reconstruction" and not "quoted." The Vatican did not deny what Scalfari reported but said it could not "be considered as a faithful transcription of the words of the Holy Father.
The Pope himself never denied what Scalfari reported and the article never ran a correction or removed the article from its website.
Commenting on this latest revelation, Rorate Caeli said, "Now, obviously, as it has often happened with Francis' informal interviews with Eugenio Scalfari, some will try to deny the veracity of what Scalfari, a seasoned journalist, affirms.
(Screenshot, Rorate Caeli)
"Let us just recall, for the record of events, that there is no reason to doubt its general accuracy. We are way past the time of doubting the general accuracy of the Scalfari quotes.
"Not now, that the papal interviews to Scalfari have been published on the Vatican website, that they have been occasionally published by the Vatican publishing house (LEV) itself - for instance, as part of the book to the right."

Not surprising, the fact that he refuses to kneel before the Blessed Sacrement has made it painfully obvious, probably does not believe in the Tue Presence of Christ, wonder if any of his Masses are valid.

Are Bergoglio and Scalfari playing with us? Is Bergoglio giving us the finger using Scalfari's hand?

Bennyvacantism is becoming more and more appealing. This demonic dolt can't be pope, because it is obvious he has no supernatural protection.
Benedict must still be pope.
He must find this delightful, and this talk about HIM. Gosh he loves to be talked about, and to create a furor, delightful! He's an evil old narcissist, and he's headed to Hell, but let's get him out of the Chair of Peter first.
He does not believe Christ is God. He has made it abundantly clear.
The demonic dolt has refused to kneel before the Holy Eucharist.
How much do we need to see. It's already THERE.

I believe he is the destroyer prophesied by St Francis.
I have thought this for years at this point. He is in power
and destroying as much as he can. I believe Our lady of Good Success and our Lady of LaSalette both warned of this time.
Fast and pray...it is what we must do. And don't be troubled as the victory is assured.
The enemy wants us to despair. I trust my Mother and Our Lord to save me. Now more than ever, we should pray for poor sinners...since they are being led astray.
Use the Holy Rosary. Do adoration. Fast.

We are at war...and we should comport ourselves like we are...while we trust in Jesus and Mary.

Indeed how much 'circumstantial' evidence do we need to realize that he is not a believer at all! He REFUSES (as others have pointed out) to kneel before the Blessed Sacrament, he REFUSES to genuflect at the Consecration, yet he has no problem kneeling to wash the feet of non Christians on Holy Thursday, and even to KISS THEIR FEET! And he has no problem at all kissing the feet of foreign dignitaries visiting the Vatican....getting down onto the FLOOR to do it no less!

With the non Christian statement that Scalfari has published and the extremely lame denial of the Holy See, the only sure fire way to put this to rest is to call Scalfari a liar and for Bergoglio himself to make a public statement not only denying what the atheist journalist published, but to affirm vehemently his belief in Jesus the Christ being always and everywhere the second person of the Trinity! Anything other than that is an affirmation to Scalfari's words. FULL. STOP. With a statement this explosive a flimsy denial from the Press Office just doesn't cut the mustard....IN THE LEAST BIT!

The Great Whore makes herself makeup with lipsticks in increasingly provocative colors - she becomes repulsive. If the Roman Catholic church still remained a noble Mother, who would want to leave Her for the Kingdom of God, which is beyond our imagination? It is not easy to move into the unknown. In his mercy, Jesus Christ allows such a rapid decomposition of his crucified Mystical Body to save faith even among the elect and to force them to leave. Elected for what? For Império do Divino Espírito Santo, on this very earth.

I think that Bergoglio is using this atheist, as a convenient medium to "seed" heresy into the mainstream. This Papa Abominandus knows exactly what he is doing. Bergoglio, a gifted "dissentsmith", is a thoroughly loathsome creature.
