Has Bergoglio been told by Cardinals that he is at risk of losing the Petrine Office for heresy?

Antonio Socci is reporting on his blog, Lo Straniero, that at least one non-Italian Cardinal, representing others contacted Bergoglio directly and was "indignant" over "Hellgate" and the reporting of two explicit heresies and denial of two Catholic doctrines, the existence of Hell and the immortality of the soul. This caused the communications office to issue its supposed clarification. Socci reports that Bergoglio was told that this was one of the "four cases of cessation of the Petrine ministry."

He further writes that while the media around the world in multiple languages is reporting on the Bergoglio-Scalfari discussion on Hell's "non-existence," the Italian media is strangely silent. Not even La Republica itself is commenting on it, or the Vatican communications experts, "clarification." There is a "secular moral delegitimization" taking place of Bergoglio, Scalfari and the Italian press, Socci asks, "who is telling the truth."

The Vatican communications experts advise that there are no direct quotes attributed to Bergoglio that Hell and the eternal soul does not exist, only a "reconstruction" by Scalfair, even though the two frequently meet notwithstanding Scalfari's consistent behaviour in this regard. Bergoglio himself does not correct Scalfair, cease to speak with him, nor does he directly, with clarity, end the scandal.

Socci writes that Bergoglio has been using Scalfari in a "role-play" for five years as a "double-track magisterial" through "vague and theological ambiguity to slowly bring about the demolition of Catholic doctrine" and he emphasizes the approach of the "boiled frog."

We all know that PF has been using Scalfari, with his consent, to test the waters for his secular innovations which have but one aim - the total destruction of the CC. Scalfari, being an obdurate Atheist, would be an ideal source to propagate such ideologies. If, at last, the silent Cardinals are beginning to stir themselves & wag their fingers at PF then it is undoubtedly an answer to our prayers. Our Lady did say the pope would consecrate Russia to Her Immaculate Heart but that it would be late. Maybe, just maybe, the straw that broke the camel's back is being used to get PF to retract his daily heresies, blasphemies etc. & do what he & other popes before should have done & carry out this act of consecration. Maybe the prelates at long last have decided enough is enough & their faith in PF's 'pastoral' abilities is leading to the desecration of what was once the OHC&A Church. With the public announcement of the betrayal of Chinese Catholics to a filthy Communist regime to the consternation of the world's Catholics, & Lettergate on top of all that has gone before (criminal & obscene behaviour of clerics), even the most hardened Mason amongst them are beginning to see that their own positions within the Vatican & its Episcopates are severely at risk if it all goes down the drain.

Let's continue to pray & vocalise our dissent of this tyrannical Destroyer Pope to pressure these old & embittered men who are about to meet their Creator to give up their pertinacity & return to preaching the Word of God.

If anything will make our humble pope read the catechism, this might.

I believe that bringing back the topic, with the same person, five years later, and at this time, was very deliberately done, calculated for shock (on those who can still be shocked) value, desensitization, and irreversible change in the end.

All who take an issue with the alleged non-existence of hell, are meant to look like evil hypocrites, who wish eternal damnation on other people.

Here we have our humble and just saviour, willing to corrects God for the sake of equity (social justice, after all, is equity for here and now only), and we still complain! How inhumane, how barbaric, how legalistic, how rigid!

The key concept here is equity - equal outcomes for all. It is very popular with progressive governments. Like Bergoglio, they attack meritocracy, competence, hard work. Accomplishments and inequalities are always unjust, they must be evenly distributed. So must Bergoglian salvation.

Not the first time this pope has said something like this. He likes to tell others and let them do the proclaiming of course. And at the very least is derelict of duty to not end confusion and clearly state the truths of the faith. Rather, he assures and promotes others in their dereliction too.

The impression I got when reading Socci's article is that the cardinal would have had to be one who sides with Bergoglio and probably helped him be elected. Why? It sounds like they are warning him - not because they necessarily want him to correct his errors - but that they don't want anything throwing them off their masonic course, as in unseating this imposter.

I don't really see this as being about PF anymore. It's about the bishops, our shepherds. It's about what happened when 3 years of schema were thrown out a week into V2, about the Novus Ordo rollout, about all the official ambiguity and thinly veiled heresy promulgated from 1962 up to Amoris Laetitia. You read about the universal dereliction of episcopal duty that happened during the English reformation and wonder, did the historians make this up? How is it possible that only one bishop stood his ground? Don't they take an oath to defend us unto death? We could understand a few hirelings, and with a big stretch maybe even a sizeable minority. But this boggles the mind.

Friends, just like the formal correction that never arrived, and never will arrive most likely, this stuff can keep us all going for years.
We've got an apostate on the Chair of Peter, and he's there as long as he's there.
We are going to have to exercise our best efforts with the virtue of patience, because while the vile papacy could end tonight, we see what the conclave would consist of, and we have to be realistic.
Hang on to personal holiness and the faith. They can't take that away from us, no matter how bad it gets.

I doubt that we soon will return to the "OHCA" church...
God loves us so much He will correct us... Soon I Hope.

The secular world is out of control. The hierchy of the church has been swallowed up.

Divine Mercy Sunday is coming up... attend those services...
And get yourself on the right side of Jesus..

Save your soul.

@ Paul Morphy

Only one cardinal has reacted? The entire college of cardinals should be demanding the pope issue a statement saying that Hell exists, and that all souls are immortal.

I know this is not the place to post this, but a traditional catholic family from Venezuela are taking refuge in Curacao but cannot stay there. They're facing the probability of being deported back to Venezuela where they suffered a kidnap.

If anyone could help them, this video shows the father's request for help.
God bless you.

That is an excellent observation.

As a convert to Catholicism I can tell everyone that I feel as if I was "sold a bill of goods" with regard to the Church's teachings regarding the Papacy.

From my perspective those teachings (ie regarding infallibility and authority) are not worth the ink spilled writing them. My sentiments towards the Papacy are similar to Flannery 'O Conner's famous quote regarding the Eucharist."..if it's a symbol, to Hell with it!"...."If the Papacy teaches error, contradicts itself and sows confusion, to Hell with it!"

My challenge to Sedevacantists is how long will they cling to their belief that the Holy See is vacant? Another 60 years? 600 years? 6,000 years? At what point do they simply admit that perhaps their understanding of the Papacy was incorrect? At what point does the Papacy even matter anymore? Have we already reached that point??

Hey don't worry with friends like Cupich, Tobin, Rosica, Dagle and Kasper on his side, the Francis has nothing to fear!

An apostate is on the chair of Peter. Alas no one knows how long more God allows it. We need a pope of St. Pius X's calibre and guts. The rot had began little by little after Giuseppe Sarto's death. Modernism if uncombatted, tolerated and embraced will lead to apostasy eventually. Jorge Bergoglio is just the very monster sitting on the chair in its full ugliness. The entire Vatican and episcopal hierarchy is silent because they have been poisoned by Modernism too, and cannot seek out the Catholic doctrines to combat the heresies spouted by PF as that would be going against their beliefs and seminary formation. Lol

The more I think about this the more I have decided that this 'Cardinal' or maybe 'group of Cardinals' were warning him so that he could stay out of the way for awhile. I don't think ANYTHING will happen to him. As someone said, the entire College of Cardinals should be rising up in revolt. Still quiet as little 'Church Mice'. It's really really DISGUSTING!!

Cardinal Burke:

When you take a job as a seaman on that Bering Sea fishing boat and in high seas you find Captain Pete and most of the crew down in the hold drilling holes thru the keel, it's OK to comment on what you see and even to ask what they are doing.

But when the only answer that comes back is "Hand me a fresh bit" and the water is at your ankles, its time to stop talking and start doing something about it, no matter how unpopular you might become with the hole drillers.
