Another attack on the Catholic faith

First, it was the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate and then, the Sisters who were told, "they pray too much."  Not so many months ago, the Mariaweld Trappist Monastery was closed down. Their commonality? A new and growing traditional Catholicism.

The Fraternity of the Holy Apostles was established by the former Archbishop of Brussels, André Léonard. Not long after his retirement and his replacement by his replacement De Kesel, a radical protegé of disgraced pervert protecting and Bergoglian promoter Godfried Danneels, the Fraternity was dissolved.

A group of lay people sought to appeal the decision to the Apostolic Signatura, the highest court in the Church. Before that appeal could be heard, it was summarily ended. The news is now out that Francis Bergoglio has unilaterally used his full, complete and universal jurisdiction to permanently dissolve the Fraternity.

Let this serve as a warning to the SSPX and FSSP.

More importantly, let this serve as a warning to Bergoglio.

It's because they were so rigid. What a merciful guy this Francis.

Hagan a little lio! Hilary White suggested some months ago that monasteries/convents that were dissolved like that could simply carry on as lay people. Nothing preventing a group of men or women from living in common, wearing identical clothes, living under a Rule, etc.

And this comes right on the heels of Pope Francis proclamation about holiness or something. The man is a fraud and a liar without faith.

The FSSP may need to worry, but the SSPX will just tell Bergoglio to go pound sand.

I pray all of these Orders regroup as lay apostolates, where they can operate under the True Spirit and be out of the clutches of the unholy ones operating within the Church.

Traditional Catholics are in desperate need of the prelate Our Lady said Her Son would send us if we prayed hard enough to reset the course of the OHC&A Church. None of the Cardinals are worthy of the titles given them. The best of them tour the world giving lectures, press interviews, writing books, attending conferences & saying the TLM in designated places, but none have actually called out PF & his cronies for their pertinacity in bringing an end to the True Faith or called for an imperfect council. Fr. Weinandy’s contribution has been the best so far, but he is not a Cardinal or even a Bishop.

What has happened to the promised formal correction that was to have taken place after the Epiphany last year? Nothing transmitted to the faithful who are in dire need to know if there is anything being put in place to secure the continuance of the One True Faith, especially in places where there is no alternative to the NO & no priestly orders. Instead of scaremongering about the possibility of excommunication why don’t they get a grip & start acting like leaders? Why don’t they speak on the dual papacy, i.e. which is the valid & licit pope, Vicar of Christ & holder of the Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven? Or, is the Seat of Peter vacant? We have a right to know. Why haven’t their voices been raised against PF’s proclamation of no Hell (therefore no Sin) & his imminent betrayal of Chinese Catholics? Not a word either about the +s Karadima/Barros victims or the numerous suspensions put on priests who refuse to offer HC to unrepentant sinners. Can we hope they might get around to speaking about these scandals before the red flag is hoisted over the Vatican?

Perhaps Francis should leave God's faithful servants alone and carefully consider this passage from Acts 5:38-39...

"38 Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. 39 But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God"

Good thinking Ana. Let's elect a legitimate Pope to counter the illegitimate one we have now. SSPX could be the leader of this movement but they appear divided among themselves.

They are not just disbanded, their assets are seized ,even the buildings they occupy .I read of one traditional order in Buenos Aires closed while yours truly was in charge, one young woman ,an orphan who lived with the sisters ended up on the streets without a cent ,so much for caring for the poor and homeless ,it must only apply to non Catholics.

I predict the FSSP won't go gentle into that good night; neither will the FSSP depart. If Pope Francis tries to shut the FSSP down, they will continue on. If Pope Francis excommunicates them, they will continue on. I believe we'll start seeing faithful true Catholic refuse to go anywhere. They'll accept whatever punishment is doled out. However, they will not be silent and they will not stop doing anything. The de facto schism that is here will harden, but not because the faithful depart.
