"It is more likely than not that he (Pope Francis) is in fact a formal heretic."

Dr. John R. T. Lamont is a Canadian Catholic philosopher and theologian. He studied philosophy and theology at the Dominican College in Ottawa and at Oxford University, and has taught philosophy and theology in Catholic universities and seminaries. He is the author of Divine Faith (Ashgate, 2004), and of a number of academic papers; his academic website is at https://acu-au.academia.edu/JohnLamont.

"In the light of the fact that Pope Francis has openly endorsed heretical understandings of Amoris laetitia in his letter to the bishops of the Buenos Aires region of Sept. 5th 2016, it is more likely than not that he is in fact a formal heretic." Dr. John R. T. Lamont

Our fellow blogger at Mahound's paradise writes:

"As Why then have so few cardinals and bishops publicly lined up with the four "dubia cardinals" on this? Lamont argues that much of the reason stems from an absolutist understanding of "obedience," with roots in the philosophy of St. Ignatius Loyola and other 16th and 17th century Jesuits. But this understanding is erroneous and dangerous:"

To which, we continue from Dr. Lamont:

"The question of how anyone, even a cardinal, can correct the Pope is an important one. It is a basic principle of the divinely established constitution of the Church that the Pope judges all other Catholics on earth and is judged by none of them. But this constitution does not establish the Pope as an autocrat with tyrannical authority, who is answerable to no-one. The Pope's authority is a legal one, and as with all legal authority it involves duties to his subjects as well as rights over them. The duty to confess the Catholic faith is a fundamental duty of the papal office. His subjects may thus formally request and even require him to carry out this duty. The right to make such a formal request belongs to any Catholic, but the cardinals, whose office is to advise the Pope, have a strict duty as well as a right to make this request. The cardinals who have failed to do this are guilty of a grave dereliction of duty. This failure is a catastrophe that threatens to lead to the disintegration of most of the Church."

It is becoming clearer now to even pew sitting Catholics, that something is clearly wrong.

My hunch is that open war is only days away, and that will come with the now expected answer to the dubia from a Cardinal, answers that will be unacceptable, as they will enshrine sacrilege and heresy.

But remember what our good friend Tom Rosica opined:

"Will this Pope re-write controversial Church doctrines? No. But that isn't how doctrine changes. Doctrine changes when pastoral contexts shift and new insights emerge such that particularly doctrinal formulations no longer mediate the saving message of God's transforming love. Doctrine changes when the Church has leaders and teachers who are not afraid to take note of new contexts and emerging insights. It changes when the Church has pastors who do what Francis has been insisting: leave the securities of your chanceries, of your rectories, of your safe places, of your episcopal residences go set aside the small minded rules that often keep you locked up and shielded from the world."

They are doing it. It is up to the rest of us,with the Lord's help, to stop them.

It is pathetic to see educated men raised to high positions in the CC grovelling before a pope who was essentially elected to the Papal Office by the Sankt Gallen Mafia & who has demonstrated his utter contempt for Tradition & his determination to conform the CC to the secular NWO. His disrespect for the Papacy which exists to uphold the Deposit of Faith, Magisterium & Tradition of the CC is disgraceful & should be enough of itself to divest him of this appointment. His tinkering with God-given commandments, welcoming of sodomites, infidels & schismatics over the sheep that should be his priority is scandalous.

If Cardinal Coccopalmerio's rendition of AL is a repetition of the entire document plus footnotes giving the OK for unrepentant sinners to access Holy Communion, this will be confirmation that PF is not concerned about the risk of the souls involved : the unrepentant cohabitants, those priests who are hounded by their Bishops into' accompanying' these sinners to the altar & the vocations of the priests that refrain from complying with this Papal Exhortation. It leaves the door open for priests to be taken to Court for breaching Human Rights (as in LGBT rights re confectioners/wedding venues, etc.) & must be prevented at all costs into becoming part of the Magisterium of the CC. His remark 'It is not to be excluded that I will enter history as the one who split the Catholic Church' is indicative of his unconcern.

We are almost at the point of no return - Our Lady of Fatima come to our aid. Your Triumph is most earnestly awaited!

We won't stop them. Only individually we are capable of putting the armour of God between them and our own soul.

I hear that 60% of Catholics support sodomite "marriage". If ever there was a valid complaint against educators brainwashing children without a resistance from the clergy, we can drop it, because it is the parents now.

They pulled it on humanity already, they got the majority on their side - the open-minded, educated, tolerant, loving majority. It is not the conspirators, but the loving majority who will support them fanatically in finishing the job.

Let us not forget, they've got all the children.

Bishop Henry from Calgary, a bishop I have considered too liberal, just wrote a letter to the people regarding sex ed. But his is a lonely voice.

Intelligent people I am surrounded by are no longer able to hear the voice of reason. No evidence, no argument will work. Why? - There are experts everywhere, always ready to confirm the lies pushed on us, there is the majority, the media, there is the pope.

Look at the US and Trump. He won, by the CIA and the State Department are sabotaging his every move. Soros sends his paid rioters everywhere. The media are the opposition. Obama has an army of 30 000 community organizers for starters to sabotage any chance at change.

Our situation is the same.

A future council will declare him a heretic. Those who thought he was "great" may be dead by then. I hope not. For one thing, they need time to repent. I also don't want to wait that long. The longer he is pope, the more opportunity he has to lead souls to hell. Pray for the destruction of the Pope. Ouch. What a terrible thing for a Catholic to have to say.

Dorota and Ana How right you both are in your summations of the horrible situation the Roman Catholic Church finds herself in ! Alas words are of no comfort and are almost useless at this stage! The results of almost 60 years of no true teaching or preaching and a total disregard for the Catechism and Traditions of the Church have arrived ! The ground was fallow long before Francis appeared on the scene. He and his heretical cohorts are just finishing off the scorched earth policy dictated by the NWO ! No doubt when the Dubia Answers are publicised VOX will be among the First to let us know ! Woe to the wicked !

Hey, when 2+2=5, anything is possible!

But for some strange reason, every outcome is a positive one?

Does it never enter their mind that according to this FranciSpadaro Theology, that if 2+2=5, then maybe Mercy + Accompaniment = Hell, or, God's Love = torture and punishment? Certainly there is a sex subculture that sees it this way...But Vox... we were just told that swearing an "oath is a sign of insecurity and duplicity..."

I believe the Catholic Herald has it right that this news signals trouble coming soon.

That maybe we should expect that not all the Cardinals will be lending Francis any support while his 'Mouth of Sauron', Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmerio, prepares to give Francis' *official* response to the dubia.

One notes with real dismay the onslaught of pro-sodomy programming on American tv now. So many commercials (Hallmark!) are featuring homosexual couples, and the relentless encouragement of sodomy. I have seen two different sets of little boys "twerking" each other at sporting events on tv just this week. Little boys, about 9 or 10 years old, dancing with each other and performing what they may not even realize are homosexual behaviors, but which their stupid parents should know. Since when do little boys dance publicly with each other? When in a culture which has given itself over to Satan.
We are in the End Times, one way or another. God help the youth caught in this horrible culture, with no voices to guide them out of it. Only "accompaniment" and "encounter".
