Iraqi Christians raise the Cross on Virgin Mary Church!

"Blessings and honour and glory and power be unto him. Amen."

Who sat by whilst these people lost their lands, those their homes, their churches, their children?

Who did this to them?

Who funded the monsters?

Who delivered to them, their weaponry?

Who stood by and played golf whilst this happened?

Accursed be them.

"They killed our children".
How does one continue to live after this?

May God forgive my indifference.

I can't even watch this. I remember them in my prayers daily.

The Son of man shall send his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all scandals, and them that work iniquity. [42] And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. [43] Then shall the just shine as the sun, in the kingdom of their Father. Matt 13:41-43

It is maddening to hear their stories. I read things yesterday that haunt my mind, the imagery so savage and barbaric, it has made me feel I am going to go crazy with frustration. Yes, it takes away my peace, but what good is peace when children and innocent people, are suffering like this? Should the world have peace when this is so? Yet, I know that I am not helping anyone in that state. Only when I pray to God Almighty and Our Lady, can I be of any assistance to these people! If only they knew, how I, and others, many others, would love to help them, support them, assist them in raising the cross and celebrating with them! May God give them, and us, the victory of this scourge that has infected our lands! We do not wish to "dialogue" or "accompany" these monsters. Conversion or destruction. Those are the only realistic choices.
I cannot help but feel some entirely negative feeling, that my own pope, our church hierarchy, has ignored the plight of these brothers and sisters in Christ.
