Are you a faithful, God-loving, God-fearing "Fixated" Catholic? Then Bergoglio has some words for you!

What does our good Pope Francis mean by this statement?
“It is by loving that the God-who-is-Love is proclaimed to the world: not by the power of convincing, never by imposing the truth, no less by growing fixated on some religious or moral obligation,”
Did I read that correctly? "growing fixated on some religious or moral obligation,”

Ah, you mean like these?

  1. I am the LORD your God. You shall worship the Lord your God and Him only shall you serve.
  2. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
  3. Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day.
  4. Honor your father and your mother.
  5. You shall not kill.
  6. You shall not commit adultery.
  7. You shall not steal.
  8. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
  9. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife.
  10. You shall not covet your neighbor’s goods.
What a bunch of relativistic Jesuitical bile!

God is love? Yes, God is also Truth. God is Mercy. God is Justice.

The Bishop of Rome also goes on to say:
“We are called always to live out and proclaim the newness of the Lord’s love: 'Jesus truly loves you, just as you are. Give him space: in spite of the disappointments and wounds in your life, give him the chance to love you. He will not disappoint you,'”
Yes, "Jesus loves you, just as you are" but Jesus does not expect you to stay, where you are!

Accordingly, if Francis is correct, then abortion is okay, contraception is okay, fornication, adultery, masturbation, pornography, homosexuality and lesbianism, murder, thievery, failure to hear Mass on Sundays, and on, and on, and on, ...

This man's theology is daft. I once gave him the benefit of the doubt, that he was suffering some form of dementia. No, not any more. He really does believe this bile he spouts.

He is confusing Catholics around the world. How sorry I feel for those Catholics trapped in Novus Ordo ignorance who fall for the blathering, bombastic theological abuses emanating from the mouth of this Bergoglio.

Bishops! Cardinals!

Where are you?

It seems the more outrageous this Apostate Pope is the more protection he receives from the Hierarchy which indicates their own heretical opinions being made manifest in PF. If they truly have no way of deselecting this man those among them who actually do uphold the Deposit of Faith must, at the very least, be vocal in condemning his pastoral scuppering of the Ten Commandment & Sacraments. If they continue to choose not to, it will definitely lead to schism & Cardinal Burke has said he will not lead such an outcome.

At the end of the day we are on our own. Countless petitions, private & public letters, demands for his excommunication etc. have failed to get even one response. The media are on their side & unless we can organise feet on the ground outside the Vatican & Casa di Santa Marta with placards in one hand, rosary beads in the other & TV cameras rolling, we have no chance of usurping the usurpers.

The one person who could make a real difference PB is busy absolving himself from the worst travesties of VII in which his input was paramount. He could, if he wished, reveal the Third Secret of Fatima intact. Maybe on his deathbed? Something has to lead to the Consecration of Russia - will that be it?

Give Him a chance to love you? Give Him space?

What language! What is next? - It is not you, it is me. (I am serious.)

So does this mean I can sleep in on Sundays?

I'm recycling as a way to show God how much I love Him, so I think I'm okay.

Anyway, IF I feel guilty, I can always go to confession and keep my mouth shut as a sign of my repentance, until the priest gives me the absolution that I deserve.

Of course I don't want to get fixated on all these new rules of "morality"..... maybe I shouldn't recycle so much....

Excellent post, Vox. However, he does have one point: The truth can't be forced on people.

Pope St. Victor I told Tertullian that conversions could not be forced and that forced conversions were not valid.

However, through the centuries, monarchs have imposed religion on their subjects for the good (think of France, Poland, Ukraine etc who accepted the Catholic Faith) and against the common good (think of Protestantism being imposed throughout Germany, Britain etc).

You are absolutely right about the Ten Commandments. The Ten Commandments are the written form of the natural law (written in our hearts - cf. St. Paul).

God writes straight with crooked lines.

I'm not disagreeing with you - I'm just looking at what he said under the magnifying glass.

Thanks again for the excellent post. You're a blessing.

I am very sad for the people of Nice with whom he met, who had to hear a warmed over 60's peacenik lecture about the only response to the attack was "forgiveness and love".
There is a time for forgiveness and love. There is also a time for taking action and self-defense after applying reason and logic, and observing history. These men who have neutralized our Catholic/Christian identity AND worked hard to fill our nations with Muslims...what can be said of them that would be charitable.
May God protect us from them.

If you love me you will keep my commandments. Sounds conditional to me.
And when we meet the implacable judge just how accommodating will He be?
Never mind we can, you or I, He was not to be so harsh after all He has to judge and love us unconditionally. You try it I will not not on my eternal life

What a mess C Jorge is, this would have to be the first time in my life ever that I pray no one listens to this imposter Pope, he twists the word of God so much that one may ask how is it that this mere man can do so much manipulation without any opposition from the Vatican. Nothing but Half-truths coming from C Jorge, he really needs to read the bible!
1 John 5:3
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not burdensome.
2 John 1:6
And this is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the very commandment you have heard from the beginning, that you must walk in love.

@ Margaret

At a time when churches are being closed down at an unprecedented rate, when Catholics are completely unaware of their Church's teaching, where they find it Christ-like to proudly celebrate sodomy and beneficial to indoctrinate little children with Bergoglio-approved sex ed, that explains sexual arousal, yet does not mention sin (I could list many more very troubling and soul-destroying trends), at a time when Bergoglio pushes for the Islamization of the formerly Christian world, this talk about not forcing faith on anyone is obviously dangerous propaganda.

Here is how it works: We stand for love, peace and unity (plus religious indifferntism and destruction of the Catholic Church - which we do not reveal), so if you are not with us, you are against peace, love and unity.

We never force our faith on anyone (especially since we do not hold this faith, since we work hard on watering it down and destroying it, for we push for a one world religion). We accuse those who take the Great Commission as on order from God Almighty of doing just that.

Bergoglio uses every opportunity to falsely accuse true Catholics. He is conditioning his followers to accept persecution of those who believe that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He calls us fundamentalists. He also begins to use the word "terrorism" to describe our comments on blogs like this one.

Thanks Vox. He gets away with this nonsense because he has evidence that nearly everyone agrees with him except for us unfortunates or rather deplorables. If the Bishops and Cardinals won't correct him, and he won't listen to us, then God will intervene to save His Church. A reckoning is coming.

Bring on da reckoning! (I think)

Perhaps this new liberal mercy is for the benefit of "liberal"clergy more than for the laity. If the laity are allowed to do as they please ,then they are not likely to criticise clergy who cause scandal.
