More heretical nonsense from the mouth of this Bergoglio!

The entire commentary can be found at Zenit as translated by my good friend,.Thomas Rosica.

After reading this, as I was alerted by a reader, I can only conclude the validity of my original words, -- that this is "Jesuitical arrogance" and "idiocy" and pure, unadulterated modernism where one can make purely orthodox statements about the devil and the supernatural and then plant within the poison of "grey" areas and how to "go beyond the law."

One drop of poison in a glass of water poisons the whole glass.

World Youth Day and the mind and mouth of Jorge Bergoglio; the gift that just keeps on giving whether we want it or not. We must really thank his Jesuit brother, Anthony Spadaro. Without this Jesuit's arrogance, we would not know of the idiocy coming from the mouth of this Bergoglio.

What curse is upon the Catholic faith that God has permitted the stupid men in red from giving us this man as Pope. For our sins and our sacrilege has led to the Church and Faith now being persecuted from within and from the very top, from a Bishop of Rome that is trapped in an era of error in critical thinking, in Catholic faith and formation and in theology.

This Bergoglio is truly a product of a corrupted Jesuitical formation which began, at least in the 1950's, and which has now come to fruition with one of its own in the Chair of Peter. What a destructive man this Pope is. At one time, many of us tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, He is feeble-minded, or suffering from some kind of dementia.

No!

He is of sound mind. A mind that is poisoned and has been poisoning others since that very day of his ordination and what he wishes to foist on the next generation of priests until the faith is dead!

"the seminarians, when they become priests, find themselves in difficulty in accompanying the life of so many young people and adults." ... "And many people leave the confessional disappointed. Not because the priest is bad, but because the priest doesn't have the ability to discern situations, to accompany them in authentic discernment," ... "They don't have the needed formation." ... "I repeat, you must teach this above all to priests, helping them in the light of the exercises in the dynamic of pastoral discernment, which respects the law but knows how to go beyond,"  "We need to truly understand this: in life not all is black on white or white on black," ... "The shades of grey prevail in life. We must them teach to discern in this gray area."

Poor babies are disappointed in that the priest did not tell them that they could go on watching pornography, masturbating, fornicating and engaging in sexual deviance with a person of the same-sex or that living with that other woman when their wife is left behind is adultery. Too bad the good priest could not see the grey and told the poor stupid youth that they will go to Hell!

It's all about sex!

O LORD, save your people. Save us from these malefactors in fine garments who have invaded your Church.

"Shades of grey." Yup, that is what the people need now. More confusion and more relativism.

Wow I remember signing a petition to stop the nasty 50 shades of gray movie - what is it with him? First we get joy of sex (I mean love) now fifty shades of grey - sin is sin - there is no grey area here - what discernment? penitent: Father, but I can't let go of this habit - I just keep watching this filth Priest : hmm. Let me discern your situation - well since it's now become a habit and you've been doing it so long, it's almost a part of who you are, I guess it's not really a sin anymore - go in peace!

The Ten Commandments are very clear and need no discernment. They were laid down by God Himself & no Pope has the authority to change them. What the CC needs is for our priests, Bishops , Cardinals & Pope to uphold them. Their counselling to people in difficulties should never involve contradicting the Word of Christ which AL does. Such a document should never have seen the light of day & wouldn't have if we had manly clergy. The fact that it has been made a Binding Document is absurd as it needs binning. AL must be rescinded!

Our impotent Hierarchy has turned its face against God while actively implementing the secular LGBT Agenda which gives preference to all & sundry over the flock of Christ whom they were ordained to lead to Him. How can any of them be ever trusted while Light Shows & dancing priests in the sanctuary has become the logo for the CC. If there is no Catholic God (i.e.no God) it follows that there is no need for the CC at all. Maybe PF & Hierarchy can enlighten us on this question.

@ Ana -- spot on Ana - this is utter horror what is going on - the worst is when you try, really try to get through to a Fancis enlightened priest - you get nonsence back - they don't even see it - in my case, when I tried I was told I need to be 'changeable' what does that even mean ? Our Lord does not change- God's commandments are not 'changeable' to fit a certain situation - it's due to the unchangeable Truth that the Church has survived so many a crisis- now that Truth is being sabotaged by the very people who vow to die defending it. Changeable, discernment, accompanying, all this sick language - but the majority of people love it - the Church is merciful now, they say, it's more welcoming now - really because it was what before PF? Yeah I see the hoards of people breaking down the doors to get to Confession or Holy Mass - not !! The sacred has been stripped almost everywhere, sanctity, repentance and penance are too archaic to speak of... How far will all of this go? Only Our Lord knows - we must Trust Him now more than ever and take refuge in His Sacred Heart

Vox, I gave the benefit of the doubt to Bergolio up until the latest news of his affiliation with Soros.

I understood staying with the bark of Peter...I figured this man was a product of his socialist upbringing and not necessarily bent on destroying the Church like his actions would imply and like his actions are achieving...until the latest news of his affiliation with Soros.

I can deny no longer Bergolio's intentions. He has let the devil himself into the Vatican to write encyclicals for the faithful. No one can be this stupid.

We have an antipope in the Office of Peter. This is earth-shattering news.

Something truly satanic is going on at the Vatican.
Also, it's no wonder that so many homosexuals thrive in the Church - it takes testosterone to say sin is sin. Now the Church is "nuturing" Herself to death.

Men are searching for happiness. They believe that 3 things can make them happy if they are able to have or do them:

1 - Sex

2 - Money

3 - Power.

You hear more often these days coming from those in power about people's sexual lifestyles: "If that makes them happy then I'm happy for them, I'll approve it and legalize it."

In politics and now in religion, the goal is to make people happy. The more you make people happy, the more they'll contribute in money and will give you power or let you keep it.

So the leaders of the world (social, political, religious, etc.) want to give the people what they want for the purpose of taking back from them the approval and satisfaction. That's all what it is.

The Bible, for example, is rejected by many because -according to them- it puts restrictions, laws, censorship, judgment, punishment, etc. on people's freedoms.

Regular human beings want to be free to do what they want and they are given these freedoms (by the clergy, politicians, etc.) as long it doesn't affect the leaders' bank account and power.

And that's the definition of "mercy" according to the new "Catholic" Church. Be soft, gentle, don't be judgemental, accept, be open-minded, accompany, don't punish, don't convert, stop talking about repentance and hell.

The Catechism says,

1857 For a sin to be mortal, three conditions must together be met: "Mortal sin is sin whose object is grave matter and which is also committed with full knowledge and deliberate consent."131

Any impediment to full knowledge (e.g., ignorance, misinformation) or consent (e.g., force and fear, duress, mental illness, even habit in some cases) diminishes the culpability of the sinner, though objectively speaking, the action is still a matter considered mortal sin. This is standard moral theology that goes back hundreds of years.

The only thing I take away from this piece is Pope Francis trying to get confessors to discern the circumstances and "impediments" in mortal and venial sin contexts. In this way, they can better lead people out of sinful patterns and circumstances as they administer this healing sacrament. I don't see here any indication he's trying to undermine the damaging (and potentially damning) effect of sin.

God wants us to be free of sin in our lives. We need not only to be forgiven, but also to be guided, encouraged forward and pastorally guided into new patterns of Christian living that are going to live according to God's will, without sin.

Maybe I missed something in the article, but it would seem to me that the harshness meted out by some will be met by the same harshness from God at the end of their lives. We can (and ought) to opt for mercy, to be merciful, without watering down the longstanding teaching of the faith.

You are correct, Anthony; so why did Spadaro not write that? Is it because that is not what the Pope meant? Should the Pope not speak with at least the same clarity as yourself?

All this outrage over Pope Francis might be misplaced. He might be the Pope who oversees the reintegration of the SSPX. While everyone in the Church wanted to condemn them, he alone stood up for them, according to Bishop Fellay:

"Le sfumature di grigio” 50 Shades of Grey = sadomasochistic Film Blasphemer and Apostate Bergoglio: "Bisogna davvero capire questo: nella vita non è tutto nero su bianco o bianco su nero. No! Nella vita prevalgono le sfumature di grigio. Occorre allora insegnare a discernere in questo grigio”.

Here is what was withheld from Pope Francis' supposed "heretical" comments in question. Vox, the following declarations from His Holiness places the "shades of grey" phrase in critical context.

https://zenit.org/articles/popes-conversation-with-jesuits-during-his-trip-to-poland/

Far from being "heretical nonsense," Pope Francis' comments were 100 percent orthodox.

Vox, as the Zenith news story noted, Fathers Spadaro and Rosica provided the complete text and vital context of Pope Francis' "shades of grey" comment.

Vox, I don't know from what news source that you reported Pope Francis' "shades of grey" comment. Did that source not report the following, which proves that Pope Francis' remark in question was 100 percent orthodox?

Pope Francis said that a priest...

"must be a man with the nose for the supernatural, that is he must be a man gifted with a sense of the divine and of the diabolical relative to the events of human life and history."

"The Jesuit must therefore be capable of discerning both in the field of God and in the field of the devil."

"We need to form future priests not to general and abstract ideas, which are clear and distinct, but to this keen discernment of spirits so that they can help people in their concrete life. We need to truly understand this: in life not all is black on white or white on black. No! The shades of grey prevail in life. We must them teach to discern in this grey area."
--------------------------------------------------------------------

What is "heretical" about that? Pope Francis talked about a priest's ability to discern "spirits...capable of discerning both in the field of God and in the field of the devil...must be a man with the nose for the supernatural, that is he must be a man gifted with a sense of the divine and of the diabolical relative to the events of human life and history."

That isn't heretical. That is Catholicism.

Vox, I just checked Father Sapdaro's Twitter page. He presented the full text of Pope Francis' address to Jesuits.

Via a Zenit report, Father Spadaro noted the following: "Fr. Thomas Rosica, assistant to the Vatican press office, has provided this working translation of the full Italian conversation of Pope Francis and a Jesuit group in Poland, found in today’s edition of La Civiltà Cattolica review found at: http://www.laciviltacattolica.it"

Vox, in regard to your reply to Anthony, do you mean that Father Spadaro S.J. misrepresented Pope Francis' address to the Jesuits? I just wish to be certain as to what you believe that Father Spadaro S.J. did in regard to Pope's comments in question.

Thank you.

Yes, outrage upon outrage. And who cares? Well, few Catholics for sure. As an exponent of explaining away sinful behavior he helps clear folks consciences of morbid and guilty thoughts. Is it any wonder that so many "Catholics" like this "Merciful" man?

Mark Thomas -

Given the full context of Francis' pontificate and everything he's said about being lenient to the divorced and remarried encouraging others through heresy in Amoris Laetitia which contradicts Famaliaris Consortio, which by the way you still refuse to address, when Pope Francis therefore says -

He is referring to the same heresy from Amoris and other statements where couples are either stupid, or that the priest should strain to find the grey in the black and white in order to give a false absolution according to CIRCUMSTANTIAL ETHICS.

Francis even contradicts himself in the very same sentence -

"general and abstract ideas, which are clear and distinct"

Huh? How can something abstract also be clear and distinct? Please explain for us Mark Thomas since you too are all about seeing Francis in shades of grey and even for you to engage in previous deliberate distortion (which is a sin by the way, bearing false witness, not only limited to accusing people of doing wrong, but also of lying to absolve someone unjustly.").

Please tell us Mark Thomas, what is abstract about Christ saying, "WHOEVER PUTS AWAY HIS WIFE AND MARRIES ANOTHER COMMITS ADULTERY." ???

Please point out the grey area. Perhaps the grey comes in if we assume like Francis does that couples are too stupid to marry?

Is homosexual intercourse a shade of grey according to Mark Thomas?

Actually the shades of grey DON'T prevail in life. The Ten Commandments are pretty clear. Christ even went further to state that simply thinking about adultery or hatred was an offence.

There are black and white things Mark Thomas. Priests are to know these. Not IGNORE them vis a vis Francis to concentrate or mucking up the colours so as to find excuses for leniency.
