Benedict XVI admits "gay lobby" power in Vatican

Joseph Ratzinger should have outed these filthy rats. Now, Jorge Bergoglio has become their best friend.

In memoirs, ex Pope Benedict saysVatican 'gay lobby' tried to wield power: report

By Philip Pullella
VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - Former Pope Benedict says in his memoirs that no-one pressured him to resign but alleges that a "gay lobby" in the Vatican had tried to influence decisions, a leading Italian newspaper reported on Friday.
The book, called "The Last Conversations", is the first time in history that a former pope judges his own pontificate after it is over. It is due to be published on Sept. 9.
Citing health reasons, Benedict in 2013 became the first pope in six centuries to resign. He promised to remain "hidden to the world" and has been living in a former convent in the Vatican gardens.Italy's Corriere della Sera daily, which has acquired the Italian newspaper rights for excerpts and has access to the book, ran a long article on Friday summarizing its key points.
In the book, Benedict says that he came to know of the presence of a "gay lobby" made up of four or five people who were seeking to influence Vatican decisions. The article says Benedict says he managed to "break up this power group".
Benedict resigned following a turbulent papacy that included the so-call "Vatileaks" case, in which his butler leaked some of his personal letters and other documents that alleged corruption and a power struggle in the Vatican.
Italian media at the time reported that a faction of prelates who wanted to discredit Benedict and pressure him to resign was behind the leaks.
POPE'S DIARY
The Church has maintained its centuries-long opposition to homosexual acts.
But rights campaigners have long said many gay people work for the Vatican and Church sources have said they suspect that some have banded together to support each other's careers and influence decisions in the bureaucracy.
Benedict, who now has the title "emeritus pope," has always maintained that he made his choice to leave freely and Corriere says that in the book Benedict "again denies blackmail or pressure".He says he told only a few people close to him of his intention to resign, fearing it would be leaked before he made the surprise announcement on Feb. 11, 2013.
The former pope, in the book-long interview with German writer Peter Seewald, says he had to overcome his own doubts on the effect his choice could have on the future of the papacy. He says that he was "incredulous" when cardinals meeting in a secret conclave chose him to succeed the late Pope John Paul II in 2005 and that he was "surprised" when the cardinals chose Francis as his successor in 2013.
Anger over the dysfunctional state of the Vatican bureaucracy in 2013 was one factor in the cardinal electors' decision to choose a non-European pope for the first time in nearly 1,300 years.Benedict "admits his lack of resoluteness in governing," Corriere says.
In the book, whose lead publisher is Germany's Droemer Knaur, Benedict says he kept a diary throughout his papacy but will destroy it, even though he realizes that for historians it would be a "golden opportunity".

Not only has PB left the CC in chaos but now he intends to destroy a diary he kept while in Office which would, no doubt, explain a lot of what has happened to the CC over the past half century. What kind of mentality does this display? Not that of a true Pope surely. No guts to see off the Gallen Mafia, does not Consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary or reveal the Third Secret thereby ignoring Our Lady's instruction, & now he intends taking his secrets to the grave. He has done the Papacy the greatest of harm from which it may never recover, yet there are plenty of people bemoaning his decision to resign. They don't appear to accept that he did not have the option to do so but again ignored the duties that went with the post. His opinion on extending the papacy does not hold water but now the Gallen Mafia are in charge which Canon Lawyer is going to stand up and say so, and by saying so denounce this trick?

I have, for a time now, thought something very strange about Benedict, something 'off'. First of all, I found VERY strange his remarks at his 65th to Francis. I had been watching Benedict for years, and NEVER had I heard the touchy feely remarks about ANYTHING or ANYONE from him. Not his personality. He also looked, well, I hate to say it but drugged. When I watched the video, his eyes were dilated and strange, but people would probably contribute that to just 'old age'. Maybe that's all it is, but he seemed out of character to me......big time. That video for some reason haunts me.

Ana.....yes it would seem that way, read my post below yours about his 65th Anniversary celebration and his tribute to Francis. I have a strong feeling that something is really wrong here. Even this statement by him to destroy this diary is out of character for him. Think about it a bit......Benedict is the one that publicly announced a report left in the Papal Apartment for the incoming Pope about the 'Gay Lobby' inside the Vatican....he MADE THIS PUBLIC. We have never heard of it again. And NOW he announces that there was a gay lobby of about 4 or 5 prelates that he managed to break up??!!! Then what was the report on the gay lobby inside the Vatican for the next Pope for, if he managed to 'disperse' them all??!! People.....please watch (if you already haven't) the video of his talk at his 65th Anniversary, and someone please put me at ease and tell me he looked normal, or that he even sounded 'like himself'. Someone tell me he's just getting old, nothing to worry about! I am sorry but 2+2 does not equal 4 here. My gut tells me something is not right. I am not trying to conjure up a 'conspiracy' here, because I am a more facts based person, but this is all way too unlike Benedict.

After one month of an investigatio previa into the sodomite cabal, or as he calls it, the gay lobby, Bergoglio announces, "we found nothing." That man should work for the FBI investigating Hillary Clinton, no?

He went on to mock the idea, "Then you spoke of the gay lobby. Goodness knows! So much is written of the gay lobby. I still have not met one who will give me the identity card with "gay."
If a person is gay and seeks the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge him? The problem isn't having this tendency, no."

Yes, it is. That is the problem.

I don't think we will ever really KNOW what REALLY goes on inside the Vatican walls, except for the fact that whatever goes on, it is DIABOLICAL.

That is incorrect. Once again, Pope Francis has been misrepresented. During a press conference, His Holiness Pope Francis was asked a two-part question. He was asked about the case of Monsignor Ricca, as well as the existence of a homosexual lobby.

1. Pope Francis did not say that "we found nothing" in regard to a supposed investigation into the existence of a homosexual lobby

2. Pope Francis said that there wasn't anything found in regard to the specific investigation into allegations that concerned Monsignor Ricca.

Here is the official Vatican transcript of the question as well as Pope Francis' clear response that, unfortunately, has been misrepresented here.

Ilze Scamparini: "I would like permission to ask a delicate question: another image that has been going around the world is that of Monsignor Ricca and the news about his private life. I would like to know, Your Holiness, what you intend to do about this? How are you confronting this issue and how does Your Holiness intend to confront the whole question of the gay lobby?"

Pope Francis: About Monsignor Ricca: I did what canon law calls for, that is a preliminary investigation. And from this investigation, there was nothing of what had been alleged. We did not find anything of that. In this case, I conducted the preliminary investigation and we didn’t find anything."
=================================================================================

Unlike that which you claimed, Pope Francis' response in question never referenced a supposed investigation related to the existence of a homosexual lobby.

Again, Pope Francis stated clearly that "we didn't find anything" in regard to the specific investigation related to Monsignor Ricca.

It is beyond comprehension that time and time and time again, clear, unmistakable comments offered by Pope Francis have been subjected to misrepresentation.

The "Gay Lobby" is just an entrap-and-blackmail operation of a much more powerful secret society. Part of their usefullness is their prominence, and therefore their exposure to embarassment. The real power is much more hidden. The Italian investigation of the P2 Lodge revealed a few facets of the real power elite. That we are seeing an embattled dual papacy of a German and an Argentinian is another clue. The international undeground consisting of fugitive Nazi and Fascist criminals and their sheep-dipped descendants combined with traditional organized criminals and intelligence agencies to create a mercenary army serving white-collar corporate criminals. The use of the Sistine Chapel as a party room for Porsche empoyees is a bit of a give-away. In the grand scheme of things, the Vatican has been reduced to a money-launderer for the global criminal elite. Who were Hitler's first investors? Not Wall Street or London.

His Holiness Pope Francis did not mock the idea of the existence of a homosexual lobby. You did not report a critical sentence in his response that proves that he did not mock the idea that a homosexual lobby may have existed (in the Vatican).

In fact, Pope Francis kept open the question as to whether the lobby existed. Finally, he condemned the general existence of the Homosexual Lobby.

Here is Pope Francis' response to the reporter's question about the homosexual lobby.

"Then, you spoke about the gay lobby. So much is written about the gay lobby. I still haven’t found anyone with an identity card in the Vatican with “gay” on it.

*******"They say there are some there.******* (With those words, he acknowledged that there is a claim about the existence of a homosexual lobby...and he did not dismiss that claim.)

"I believe that when you are dealing with such a person, you must distinguish between the fact of a person being gay and the fact of someone forming a lobby, because not all lobbies are good. This one is not good."

1. Pope Francis did not mock the existence of a homosexual lobby.

2. He made the point that nobody walks around with a homosexual ID card...which, of course, doesn't make it easy to identify the existence of a secretive homosexual organization.

3. He did not dismiss remotely the idea that the lobby existed as he noted that the belief exists that a homosexual lobby exited in Rome.

4. He acknowledged the existence of an overall homosexual lobby throughout the world...and he condemned said lobby.

5. Interestingly, a month prior to the above remarks, there were international news headlines that during a private meeting, Pope Francis had spoken about the existence of a homosexual lobby that existed at Rome.

Finally, on January 13, 2016 A.D., the follow was reported:

A 'gay lobby' at the Vatican? One cardinal says it's real, and Pope Francis is responding

Vatican City, Jan 13, 2016 / 04:13 pm (CNA/EWTN News).- The influential Cardinal Oscar Maradiaga has acknowledged the presence of a “gay lobby” in the Vatican. In a new interview, he says that Pope Francis has adopted a gradual approach to address it – and that Catholic teaching won’t change.

The Honduran newspaper El Heraldo asked the cardinal whether there actually was an attempted or successful “infiltration of the gay community in the Vatican.”

Cardinal Maradiaga responded: “Not only that, also the Pope said: there was even a ‘lobby’ in this sense. Little by little the Pope is trying to purify it,” he continued.

Yes, it is. That is the problem."

The problem is acting upon the "tendency".

Now, in regard to "who am I to judge him?"...

His Holiness Pope Francis stated clearly that a person who sins, then seeks the Lord, confesses his sin, and converts to the Lord, is a person who has been forgiven of his sin(s). That is 100 percent Church teaching.

Interestingly, earlier this year when Michael Voris acknowledged his homosexual past, one Traditionalist after another defended (which was proper) Michael Voris in line with Pope Francis' very words in question. Michael Voris sinned, acted in good will as he sought the Lord, confessed his sin, reformed his life...therefore, who are we to judge Michael Voris.

Now, here are Pope Francis' orthodox comments in question.

"But if a person, whether it be a lay person, a priest or a religious sister, commits a sin and then converts, the Lord forgives, and when the Lord forgives, the Lord forgets and this is very important for our lives.

"When we confess our sins and we truly say, “I have sinned in this”, the Lord forgets, and so we have no right not to forget, because otherwise we would run the risk of the Lord not forgetting our sins. That is a danger. This is important: a theology of sin. If someone is gay and is searching for the Lord and has good will, then who am I to judge him?"

Catholicism 101.

A homosexual (or any sinner) who has good will, seeks the Lord, confesses his sin(s), converts to the Lord...will be forgiven. Who am I to judge him?

Exactly.

That little insipid smile of Pope Em. Benedict has bothered me for a long time. It is not just humility, he seems scared of something.

It is quite obvious that there is something very wrong regarding Pope Benedict. At his anniversary of priesthood celebration he looked drugged, really out of it, and his words were those of a simpleton. That is not who Benedict is at all. The video of that farce of a celebration confirms that he is in an unusual situation in the Vatican. He needs our prayers, not our rash judgments and condemnation.

he knew them...knew what they were and who they were; and he abandoned us to them. His abdication was a cowardly, brutal, and traitorous thing to do with massive eternal consequences. He fled for fear of the wolves, and now they decimate the flock as never before.

TLM. I’ve watched the video of Pope Benedict on his 65th as you suggested and indeed it has concerned me a lot. I pray for pope Francis but do not watch or hear anything of his because I really can’t stand his fake tone and message, especially in Spanish. I observed quite a few things in that video. I breaks my heart to think what Holy Father Benedict XVI must be going through and in what hands he is into. As you said, we will never know what’s going on in the Vatican but I’m praying even more fervently for Father Emeritus now. That Our Lord Jesus Chris by the Merits of His Precious Blood give him final perseverance. I have also prayed for the same reasons for Mother Angelica and Father Benedict Groeschel . These are indeed dark times, so dark that adherence to the Faith must be stronger.

Good news the FBI is going to investigate Pope Benedict's resignation. People please remember if a group of Cardinals came up to you and told you has Pope to resign now or we will kill your brother and the rest of your family you wouldn't resign?

Same thing happen to Cardinal Siri who was elected Pope in 1958 and again in 1963 on the first day of the conclave. Everyone witness white smoke that day, then it turned black. Cardinal Siri was told you take up the office we will kill your family, and so 2 days later Pope John 23 rd was elected and told Cardinals to stay in over night and begged them to not let the secret out of what happen. Google Cardinal Siri for proof, plus the FBI investigated this and have documents that this is true. Cardinal Siri watched while Pope 23 became Pope while he was the vaild Pope, and again in 1963 he was denied again when Pope Paul took the throne after death threats. He would of bee called Pope Gregory XVII. He had to stay silent till his death in 1989 or have himself killed or his family.

Re: Pope Benedict's DIARY

Someone needs to abscond with his diary & not let him destroy it. It would hold many explanations of he felt & why he did what he did during his papacy, and especially at the end of it.

I had no idea he had a diary, but PLEASE get some Cardinal to get access to the Ratzinger and to get that diary from him (copy it & return it to him) & publish it at some point later on.
