Gospel Jihad - the new Bergoglian Blasphemy!

And then there is La Croix's official English translation of this Bergoglian blasphemy!
La Croix:  The fear of accepting migrants is partly based on a fear of Islam. In your view, is the fear that this religion sparks in Europe justified?
Pope Francis: Today, I don’t think that there is a fear of Islam as such but of ISIS and its war of conquest, which is partly drawn from Islam. It is true that the idea of conquest is inherent in the soul of Islam. However, it is also possible to interpret the objective in Matthew’s Gospel, where Jesus sends his disciples to all nations, in terms of the same idea of conquest.

I used to wonder if Pope Bergoglio was really orthodox. Now I am wondering whether he is actually sane.

Just when I think Pope Francis can't surprise me anymore, he says something unthinkable liek this. On the bright side, his pontificate has done wonders for my patience :)

“Ideas disconnected from realities” is a good way to describe the [NWO] Church’s Islam policy. That policy does not seem to have done much to prevent persecution of Christians in Muslim lands. How about Catholics who do not live in the danger zones? Catholics who live in the West and rely on the [NWO] Church for their understanding of Islam can be forgiven if they still remain complacent about the Islamic threat. That’s because there is absolutely nothing in recent official [NWO] Church statements that would lead them to think that there is anything to worry about. Lumen Gentium? Nostra Aetate? The Catechism of the [NWO] Catholic Church? Evangelii Gaudium? All discuss Islam, but not in a way that would raise the slightest concern. The Catholic who wonders what to think about Islamic terrorism and then consults his [NWO] Catechism only to find that “together with us they adore the one, merciful God” will likely conclude that terrorists are distorting and misinterpreting their religion. Confident that the [NWO] Church has spoken definitively on the matter, he’ll roll over and go back to sleep."

How did the Church end up with such a schmo? Mercy me! He needs the mercy doors more than us. I'm just thankful for small mercies even if right now it's hard to know what they are! Let me pause for a mercy moment. One mercy, two mercy, three mercy,.....

so if this PF's way of thinking, what value should we put on his comments about the SSPX

Geoff, why do you call this man "Holy Father"? Surely you don't believe this flaming apostate to be the Pope, do you?

Actually, he isn't altogether wrong. European pillagers and plunderers justified their thievery of other nations' lands and treasures by saying they were spreading Christianity.

Really, friend, have you not read your scripture?

I suggest Mark 9:40 or Luke 9:50, something about "he who is not against us is for us."

Yes, when Francis acts well, it behoove us to state it and when not, it obligates us.

That is not what he said, he was referring to the "great commission." Stop reading something that is not there.

Anonymous@ 3:18 pm is on to something.

I have to disagree with you, Vox. The papal bulls Romanus Pontifex and Inter Catera implicitly wrapped up the beginnings of European colonialism and the conquest of pagan (and Saracen) lands with the Great Commission of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Love him or hate him, Francis isn't saying anything absurd. Maybe debatable but certainly not absurd.

Anonymous said...

'...he was referring to the "great commission."'

What exactly is the great commission about if it isn't about spreading Christianity?

Vox Cantoris said...

So, the "Great Commission" is equivalent to Jihad?

Right.

'So, the "Great Commission" is equivalent to Jihad?'

Francis didn't say that, nor did I.

With charity, take your own advice and 'Stop reading something that is not there.'

Vox Cantoris said...

With charity; the Pope has often praised Islam. He even bowed towards Mecca when in Africa on a visit to a Mosque. He sees it as "another" way by all indications.

Jihad is murder. It is rape. It is pillaging.

Mohammed was a murderer. A thief, warlord and paedophile.

Any attempt to equate it with the true faith is a lie.

Now, I suggest you find another place to troll.

Why do people still associate European empire-building with Christianity? Throughout the imperial era, Europe was Masonic. The American empire is Masonic. Even the later Austro-Hungarian emperors were Masons, as were the later Ottomans. Got a problem with the Muslim Brotherhood and its spawn? It's a Masonic front. The enemy is Luciferianism. The heretical sects -- Muslim and Protestant -- are just facades.

Good for you Vox. Trolls are becoming a terrible nuisance and are all over the internet trying to create disharmony. They jump from website to website and use several false identities but you can generally spot them by the way they write & language used.

This may be the more concerning quote:

"In London the new mayor (ed: Sadiq Khan) took his oath of office in a cathedral and will undoubtedly meet the queen. This illustrates the need for Europe to rediscover its capacity to integrate."

Which is worse? The several implications of the words themselves? Or the obvious likelihood they were scripted for the pope by someone else? Notice the NPR lib-talk style and lingo, no way the pope's own. Possibly Abp. Kissy-Face?

This is a comment which I think bears repeating for when the time comes:

Francis is in stark opposition to St. Bernard of Clairveau.
"You can not but know that we live in a period of chastisement and ruin; the enemy of mankind has caused the breath of corruption to fly over all regions; we behold nothing but unpunished wickedness. The laws of men or the laws of religion have no longer sufficient power to check depravity of manners and the triumph of the wicked. The demon of heresy has taken possession of the chair of truth, and God has sent forth His malediction upon His sanctuary. 1
Oh, ye who listen to me, hasten then to appease the anger of Heaven, but no longer implore His goodness by vain complaints; clothe not yourselves in sackcloth, but cover yourselves with your impenetrable bucklers; the din of arms, the dangers, the labors, the fatigues of war are the penances that God now imposes upon you. Hasten then to expiate your sins by victories over the infidels, and let the deliverance of holy places be the reward of your repentance. 2
If it were announced to you that the enemy had invaded your cities, your castles, your lands; had ravished your wives and your daughters, and profaned your temples—which among you would not fly to arms? Well, then, all these calamities, and calamities still greater, have fallen upon your brethren, upon the family of Jesus Christ, which is yours. Why do you hesitate to repair so many evils—to revenge so many outrages? Will you allow the infidels to contemplate in peace the ravages they have committed on Christian people? Remember that their triumph will be a subject for grief to all ages and an eternal opprobrium upon the generation that has endured it. Yes, the living God has charged me to announce to you that He will punish them who shall not have defended Him against His enemies. 3
Fly then to arms; let a holy rage animate you in the fight, and let the Christian world resound with these words of the prophet, “Cursed be he who does not stain his sword with blood!” If the Lord calls you to the defense of His heritage think not that His hand has lost its power. Could He not send twelve legions of angels or breathe one word and all His enemies would crumble away into dust? But God has considered the sons of men, to open for them the road to His mercy. His goodness has caused to dawn for you a day of safety by calling on you to avenge His glory and His name. 4
Christian warriors, He who gave His life for you, to-day demands yours in return. These are combats worthy of you, combats in which it is glorious to conquer and advantageous to die. Illustrious knights, generous defenders of the Cross, remember the example of your fathers who conquered Jerusalem, and whose names are inscribed in Heaven; abandon then the things that perish, to gather unfading palms, and conquer a Kingdom which has no end."

Dear John Laws, I agree with your comment 100%. However I have not been able to understand why the masons/NWO/lucerferians are organising the muslim invasion. I understand how they have brought it about, but what is their purpose/strategy in doing so? What are they aiming to achieve thereby? Please can you explain it to me?

How many Christian armies do you know of? Ok, how many Christian soldiers are there, trying to convert the world? More than two? More than one? Ok, how about none?

Anonymous said...

Eugene,

I agree with you 200%. This is why I've said here and elsewhere that the SSPX needs to be VERY CAREFUL in dealing with the Vatican.

Quite frankly, I think that they need to have a doctrinal agreement FIRST. To paraphrase a former president, make sure that both sides agree on what the definition of IS is - and then stick to it. Second, the Vatican needs to show good will by giving the SSPX full freedom of action. Pope Francis said (I'm paraphrasing here) that the Second Vatican Council has value. What does he mean by that statement? The SSPX (and us) need to know. If that means that they have to accept VII, then will they be forced to accept false ecumenism, liturgical abuses etc. OR will they accept the Council in light of Tradition as per Archbishop Lefebvre?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Margaret

BTW, my late father's name was Eugene. :-)

Friends

The prominent role for oppression, violence and terror in spreading and defending Islam is in the very DNA of the religion itself. Not so with Christianity. Such means are simply not sanctioned in any way shape or form within the reality known as Christianity. Have there been Christians who have spread Christianity in ways that cannot be reconciled with the Great Commission? Certainly, there has been no shortage of examples of inducing people into the Church using unfair methods. But these methods have absolutely no foundation in Christianity itself.

Charlemagne was having serious problems along his border with Germany. He gave the terrorist German chieftains a choice.....the SWORD or BAPTISMAL WATER. Once the chiefs were baptized then the tribes followed. Certainly not a Gospel way to spread the Gospel. But, for sake of pacifying his borders, it worked. Oh, by the way, it was Charlemagne's grandfather, Charles Martel who, at Tours in 732, halted the Muslim blitzkrieg of western Europe. That "firewall" against the virus of Islam took place only one hundred years after Mohammed's death. Think about it, from to Arabia to central France in one century, accomplished at the point of a blood dripping sword and a trail of terror. The debt we owe to Charles Martel is inestimable. Perhaps "Je suis Charles Martel" would have been a better response than "Je Suis Charlie Hebdo", following the Hebdo massacre, in Paris last year.

Jorge's rash misleading comment, in desperate need of some historical nuance, promotes a false moral/practical equivalence between how Islam has spread with the missionary mandate of the Great Commission. Bergoglio's cheer leading "Ignorati" will, of course, eat this up.

Jorge do yourself a favour, do the Church a favour. ABDICATE!!
