James Martin, S.J., heresiarch Jesuit manipulates publicly, the reception and nature of the Holy Eucharist!

"I believe, of course, that it's the Body and Blood of Christ, but you know, as Pope Francis said, communion is not a reward for the perfect.  It is medicine for the sick.  It is medicine for those who need it.   So, you know, you look at the Last Supper, I mean, were the disciples to whom Jesus gave communion all perfect?  Absolutely not.  I mean, he gave communion to Judas, for pete's sake.  So, I think we need to get away from this idea that you need to be perfect in order to approach the communion rail."
“What makes people hypocrites? They disguise themselves, they disguise themselves as good people: they make themselves up like little holy cards, looking up at heaven as they pray, making sure they are seen—they believe they are more righteous than others, they despise others.”  Pope  Francis (source)

I'm happy to know that in James Martin's parish there is a "communion rail," perhaps he would send us a picture.

It is good to see that more than a few bloggers and haters on Twitter have noticed this man's agenda and heterodoxy.

Father Dwight Longenecker writes:

Fr. Martin has set up a straw man, and this is a typical tactic of the progressive propagandist. They portray those who oppose them as wild eyed, frenzied lunatics while they, of course, are the mild mannered, smiling and reasonable voice of common sense. Really? I expect there are some Catholics who do “hate” LGBT people”, but I haven’t met any. It suits Fr Martin, however, to pump up the hate speech because it’s easy to hate the haters. Consequently by pumping up the hate speech he raises the level of hatred. Those who pump up the accusations of hate pump up hate. They should be reminded that not everyone who disagrees with the LGBT agenda is a bigoted, self righteous, legalistic hater. Bullying others by calling them self righteous, legalistic haters weakens one’s position.Fr Martin is smart.  He should be better than that.
Keep it coming James; you're just too much fun. Almost as much as my Basilian friend.

Now, for a little irony courtesy of our Jesuit friend with an acknowledgment for finding it to One Mad Mom.

Well, if calling people "haters" is not an "ad hominem attack" then, I don't know what is.

Who gave this boy his First Holy Communion?

There was a bug in the feed so I had to take it down. Will look into it. I can't believe how many people miss it!

Thanks Billy!

Heresiarch, indeed! Fr. Martin fails basic catechism. And, as Holy Scripture would have it:

(Y)ou must be in a state of grace. "Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of profaning the body and blood of the Lord. Let a man examine himself, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup" (1 Cor. 11:27–28).—http://www.catholic.com/tracts/who-can-receive-communion

(Y)ou must believe in the doctrine of transubstantiation. "For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment upon himself" (1 Cor. 11:29). [same link as above]

Wow, all these clergy who call us haters lack something Crucial - they lack any faith
Christ's followers are supposed to be haters- HATERS OF EVIL - you cannot love what is GOOD, if you don't hate what is evil - and what has been evil then will always be evil - morality does not change as it is based on God (anything that opposes God is evil)
That is our moral compass.
So if these clergy want to call us haters, ok, they are only confirming that they do not agree with God's Commandments as a moral compass- they seem to think that morals are subject to a persons feelings or opinion- therefore they are haters of good and lovers of evil. Here is why they writhe when anyone calls them out, when anyone throws doctrine, canon or scripture in their face - their conscience cannot handle the 'goodness and holiness' of it - they become offended and defensive.. Again only proves that they are the real haters, haters of everything that is good.

The homosexuals like Martin seem to really enjoy rubbing our noses into it. They wear their pride on their sleeves for all to see and in case no one notices they shout it from the rooftops, or on Twitter (same thing).

I feel pity for him. On that awful day when he, like all of us, have to face Our Lord and give an account, his homosexual hubris will not help him very much.

Fr. Martin uses the same tactics the homosexual activists use, get into high places and into a position of trust and
Then use the position to change the hearts and minds of those who may not know better. If you disagree, you are
Called names and given labels, such as hater!
Typical. What is most caustic, is that he is supposed to be a holy Catholic priest!

For a moment I wished that we can address Pope Francis by name, by calling him out since he is the one who put his seal of approval over the mess.

By his deafening silence and unwillingness to shut up some problem-clergy and by his explicit and implicit approval of their words and actions, he is igniting a war and causing a split in the Church, not to mention by his own words and actions as well since he is the major player.

But I guess some who call themselves "Traditionalists" or "Conservatives" prefer the world's strategy of keeping the war going instead of confronting it directly and taking it to the Pope under the guise of being afraid of the critics who would accuse them of "attacking the Pope."

And let's be honest, you get the impression that it's good for their (the "Conservatives/Traditionalists") business, to keep their business going and asking for money (subscriptions/donations, etc.)...Yes, THEIR business, not the business or the good of the Church. The more they keep the fire up, the more it's good for them. Again, that's how it looks like.

It is not wise to be a coward or selfish.

"Take Up Your Cross and Follow Me" means to bear the attacks for Christ, not to duck, to cower, to avoid them, or to be selfish and dishonest.

I think about people like Michael Voris, for example.

Confession is medicine for the soul ,the Blessed Sacrament is nourishishment ,before receiving its nessary to be cleansed in the confessional .

I think the Lay Catholics should put into practice and in action this "sensus fidelium" thing or modify it as to have the clergy confess their sins to the faithful Catholics before doing Mass. That way, we know that the Consecrated Host will not be desecrated.

Muslims wash their arms, legs and butts before praying.

Well, the clergy need to clean themselves, spiritually, by going to Confession at least an hour before Mass, before touching God.

I might exaggerate about the "sensus fidelium", but you know what I mean.

The clergy unworthy of the Mass, should not celebrate it.

Honesty is required. But if honesty is practiced by the clergy, at least 75% of them would've left the Church!!

But the Church is for many of them, their refuge from the troubled outside world, their source of wealth and wellbeing. And let's not forget, they live for FREE.

Will the year of mercy change the ten commandments to the ten suggestions? Will "go and sin no more" be changed to just commit a particular sin fourteen instead of fifteen times? Will the act of contrition be optional? Will the sins that cry out to Heaven for Vengeance have a one year moratorium? Will cardinals be sent cardinal Kasper's 'mercy for Dummies' book on how to navigate catechesis properly throughout the year? Will admonishing the sinner be revoked for one year even though sometimes when you admonish the sinner, the sinner repents – because the sinner still has a conscience, heart, and soul?

That's a great example, Judas..the Gospel of John tells us, "..So he took a piece of bread, dipped it and gave it to Judas..As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him."13:26 First example of sacrilegious Communion, and what happened to Judas, he fell into despair and hung himself.
We judge ourselves, our conscience, according to the Teachings, the Commandments given to us by God, not by what WE think is right or wrong. A murderer or rapist probably in their conscience thinks they are right, there is nothing wrong with what they do..anyone who wants to do away with the Teachings of Christ, with doctrine, is a liar, they have no clue as to what real mercy is. Real mercy is letting our brother or sister know that they are in grave sin and in danger of Hell. Real mercy is helping them out of their sinful state and leading them to true repentance and contrition, not leaving them or cheering them on in their miserable state.
"..those who love me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and my Father and I will come to them and live with them. Those WHO DO NOT LOVE ME DO NOT OBEY MY TEACHING. AND THE TEACHING YOU HAVE HEARD IS NOT MINE, BUT COMES FROM THE FATHER, WHO SENT ME."John 14:23-34
