What a wonderful Catholic world

Dear Friends,

I want to take this opportunity to express to the thousands of Catholic people around the world a thanksgiving from myself and my family for the outpouring of prayers, rosaries and Masses, sacrifices of personal illnesses offered up, emails, Tweets and comments. However, there is one in particular which was incredibly moving and prayerful. A few days ago, Mr. Gareth Thomas of Spain did a most wonderful thing. As a result of that gesture of fraternal charity, I received a letter which was overwhelming in its beauty and wisdom. Please let us remember that all is not lost and that there are many fatherly and faithful Shepherds in the Church and one of them is His Excellency Athanasius Schneider.

It has been one week since my last blog post whatever that was about, it seems so long that I can hardly remember. I've been itching to get back. First, I have no doubt that you all want to know what is happening with whatever it is that has kept me away from blogging. Let me say simply that "Patience is power" according to Venerable Fulton Sheen and "Patience is not an absence of action; rather it is "timing" it waits on the right time to act for the right principles and in the right way."

Rome seems to be in chaos, eh? We have the theft of the book by the five Cardinals for the Synod Fathers Remaining in the Truth of Christ (which was my Christmas present from Fox) to the admission by the much troubled Theodore McCarrick (you can search for the filth) a retired Cardinal from Washington. Seems that they just can't resist a video camera. Thank the LORD for the Internet. It seems that the octogenarian eminence was "lobbied" to vote for Jorge Bergoglio. "Talk him up!" he was told.

Well that is lobbying and it is against Canon Law; but then, one would need to have respect for the law to obey it.  There are some pretty serious implications to this -- from the potential of excommunication to the calling into question the factors around the overall election of Pope Francis and its implications.

Life was getting too soft since I married Fox. I've been given a cross and it is heavy laden to be sure but it is not fair to her ; because of your prayers and Masses and the One whose "yoke is easy and his burthen is light" it is not too hard for us to carry.

I'm glad to see you back. You have many friends even though we have never met you personally. But we have come to know you through your blog and then to see that shot taken at you was not just something many of us only watched from afar. And many of us have returned the fire, which was never expected (how stupid!), and which have been more "bothersome" than you ever were. Your one spotlight has turned into many, all converging to form one very bright and very hot light indeed. Of course, that's why Father Timothy Scott lashed out at Cardinal Burke. Let everyone know what help you really need. We're waiting for the call when you give it.

What a wonderful catholic world. I was raised in a catholic family. My father suffered for his faith in a communist-block country. When I went off to university, I was indoctrinated with the ideas of the Frankfurter School, believing it to be a gift of enlightenment. All my childhood doubts were confirmed! The Church has been oppressing and lying to thinking people since at least Constantine!
After much prayer that seemed to go unanswered, I dared at the age 22 to skip Sunday mass. A Sunday without a mass felt awful at first, but I got used to it. When I revealed my loss of faith to my father, he fell to his knees and cried. I CAN imagine now how devastating it was for him.

Several years ago while surfing the net I came upon a catholic priest who accused non-catholics of not partaking in the fullness of a God-given humanity by rejecting His truth. Instead of remaining anonymous, I introduced myself and accused him of ignorance in return.

It has been a very long journey. On the way I discovered that the 80 year old priest was not teaching the catholic faith I knew as a child. Though he said what he said, he really was a modernist through and through. Knowing that catholics who visited his blog routinely skipped the Sunday mass and preferred the New Age "Course in Miracles" to the Word of God, he did not mercifully offer a word of helpful rebuke. Instead he talked about atheists going to heaven. He refused to discuss the topic of hell, and you can imagine all the rest...

Thanks to that meeting I realized that the Church was in a state of a profound crisis. The issue is cognitive dissonance, the issue is hypocrisy, refusal by clerics to know and teach the faith (political correctness? ignorance?), the issue is that the so called catholic have abandoned Christ for the sake of modernity and for the sake of the idiocy and barbarism that is called progress. Rather then leaving the Church like honourable people would do in the not too far past, they insist that the Church mocks Christ to conform to them!

I am back - not fully, I married an atheist and raised my daughter to be a sceptic, but I am back asking God to forgive me and to use me according to His plan.

My doubts persist, but I can see the devastation in the minds and hearts of people that these hypocritical priests have caused. Their sin is very serious. They now go after faithful Catholics with full force, and it starts at the top. They call them Pharisees and dangerous fanatics.

When I visit people like you, the sense of a sudden blast of fresh air is undeniable. A YES is still A YES, and a NO is a NO. There is no luke-warmness.

Brother in fanaticism, I pray for you. When I ask God to protect my family every day, I ask Him to give YOU strength and courage, too.

I am not a wealthy man, but if you end up going to court, please set up a "go fund me" account or something of the like. Expect a donation from me. Deus vult.

It was good that Bishop Athanasius Schneider responded to my request for support for you, David. I prayed about it and felt it was right to try and get you support from a true shepherd of the Church. I do not act alone. Although I live in a slightly remote situation, with four donkeys in a country setting in Spain, I am connected with a small gropup of traditional Catholics on the internet - in a place where we work cheerfully to oppose the lies and calumnies of those who would undermine doctrine. And there are many more such groups of resistance. People like Fr Thomas Rosica know nothing about the scale of the opposition they face.

From one who appreciates that the real St Francis was not about novelty but tradition,

Pax et bonum!

Please take the comment about setting up a fund seriously as my spouse and I would also like to contribute. Our family was in a very serious predicament, also at the hand of bullies, and had it not been for some very dear fellow catholics, some of whom even offered to pay our mortgage, we would literally have been starving and homeless. God bless you, your family and your great work. Catholics who love our Church and her teaching must work together and support each other.

Dear Mr. Domet and family please let us know how we can help financially. As I posted earlier it would be an honor to help you.

Keep up the good work. Now that some light is being shone on the activities of Fr Rosica, he must be starting to regret some of his actions.

Vox, what I've been waiting for is your commentary on the German Bishops open schism. Come on pal get back to doing what you do well :-) ! May God bless you and your wife, and may He protect you from the wolves dressed as shepherd's.
