Pray for our Catholic brethren in Antigonish

Back on May 18, I posted this about a very special event to take place in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. The Church in Antigonish is infamous for a few things; one former bishop had people arrested for kneeling for Holy Communion and the most recent former bishop was arrested and is now jailed for having child pornography on his computer.

Catholics in Antigonish have suffered much.

I wanted to repost the link to the original story and this little note which arrived tonight:

I attended this conference this past weekend and it was great Michael Voris was awesome and so was Fr. Nicholson. I wish all of our priest's were modelled from him and our past and present Bishop too.... maybe then we wouldn't be in the shape we are in. As adults who were poorly catechised, we have to take some of the responsibility for this mess. When one truly knows the Catholic Faith they should be in Love and on "fire" for it and for Jesus.Ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of God- (St. Jerome) I know some parishes in C.B. where posters had been put up on their bulletin boards and were taken down by the next weekend(no doubt by liberalists or New Agers). The Catholic Church is a treasure beyond our wildest dream and sadly we have Satan who is trying to destroy it by destroying its seven sacraments. Please pray for our priests and our Bishop because unfortunately they are front liners in this
battle who have been struck and many have succumbed to this secular world and the snares of the devil. They do need our prayers and support...for the Beauty of the Church!

Father Paul Nicholson and Michael Voris - what a team - what warriors for the Roman Catholic Church. If we were hearing homilies like this in our churches they would be filled instead of being closed! It was a weekend of reaffirmation for all who attended and a call to arms against satan and his minions. Of course the battle has been won - we are just called to do the mopping up. We must also redouble our prayers for our bishop, priests and religious. Thank you, Fr. Paul and Michael. We assure you that with God's grace we will "never, never, never, never, never give up"!!

I attended this conference and we all left on fire to renew our committment to our beautiful Catholic faith. Why can't we hear talks like that by our priests? Shouldn't they be on fire to evangelize and save souls by giving them the authentic TRUTHS of Jesus - not some watered down version. Today we are being accused of lack of "charity " if we speak the truth - now we know that the greatest lack of charity is not to speak the truths of our faith because it shows we are more concerned about being "nice" and liked than we are about saving souls!
