Whose fault is it anyway?

Not homosexualist priests.

Not sexually abusive priests.

Not bishops who covered it up.

Not Vatican officials who ordered silence.

Not the destructive modernists of the 20th century.

Not the Lavender Mafia seminaries.

Not the liturgical destroyers.

Not dissenting bishops.

Not the Canadian bishops in Winnipeg.

Not the dissenting nun.

Not theologians who taught contrary to the faith.

Not those who preach a false ecumenism.

Not the Scarborough Foreign Missions syncretic "Golden Rule."

Not those who wrote the Grade 11 World Religion Course in our Catholic Schools.

Not radical feminists.

Not professional Catholics.

Not Catholic School trustees voting for gay clubs.

Not chancery officials who dismiss the concerns of the faithful.

Not Catholic foundations inviting anti-Catholic bigots to speak.

Not any of them.

It's all the fault of bloggers;

And Michael Voris, of course!

Do I detect a little tongue-in-cheekiness here?

My dd has just finished the World Religions Course.

What an utter joke. A course that could be so good, and so affirming to young Catholics is reduced to (at least in our local iteration) world religions a la Hollywood. Syncretist and shallow.

And that's just for starters...
